Technical Sales & Marketing Associate

The Technical Sales and Marketing Associate works under the direction of the Senior Manager Technical Services and Sales to support the Company’s. marketing efforts and secure sales and repeat business via the development and maintenance of strategic, supportive customer relationships, through interfaces with local and regional customers. This position also works to enhance customer service and satisfaction goals and ensure adherence to the service delivery policy, procedures and standards. 

  • Provide strong support to the Senior Manager Technical Services & Sales in the design and execution of the marketing strategy
  • Be fully participative in the Company’s marketing and sales efforts
  • Generate and develop new business to increase sales with existing and new customers
  • Prepare, present and follow up on quotations to customers for software, hardware and services
  • Support the implementation of customer service strategy, policy, standards & procedures
  •  Enact customer service strategy and monitor adherence to service delivery policy, standards & procedures
  • Serve as a point of reference for customers, ensuring open communication and management of customer relationships.
  • Monitor and maintain Customer Relationship Management system. 
  • BSc in Marketing or Information Technology or similar qualification 
  • At least two years’ experience in a sales/marketing position in a similar organization or one of a similar size 
  • Knowledge of computer networks; software; database design and reporting 
  • At least two years’ experience working in IT operations 
  • Excellent customer service, written and oral communication, time management and negotiation skills 
  • At least two years’ experience in an administrative position, preferably in an ICT environment 
  • Well versed in key business productivity software, for example Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Knowledge of point of sale, hospitality and accounting software will be an asset 

Technical Support Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist works as part of the Technical Support Team, implementing solutions in Retail and Hospitality Software. They also provide professional IT support services including, but not limited to networking, equipment configuration and security on LANS and WANS.  They work under the supervision of the Manager – Technical Support. 

  • As part of the Technical Support Team, they are responsible for receiving, analyzing, and resolving requests for end user technical support.  
  • Implement point of sale software and equipment 
  • Implement accounting, service, and other application software 
  • Implement and maintain Windows networks and security 
  • Maintain technical relevance through continuous training on application software and related computer hardware 
  • Pursue certification in NCR, Microsoft solutions and other related software and equipment 
  • Develop greater knowledge of retail and accounting systems 

 

  • BSc in Information Technology or Management or similar qualification
